The conference featured addresses by Luminița Popescu, the State Secretary of the National Agency for Equal Opportunities for Women and Men (ANES), as well as Alina Pop, the State Secretary of the Romanian Labour and Social Protection Ministry. Lene Nilsen from the Norwegian Ministry of Justice and Public Security commended ANES for their key role in the SYNERGY Network against Gender based and Domestic Violence.

Cops relocate as CCSC reopens to the public

SunStar SunStar File April 29, 2021 MORE than 400 members of the Police Regional Office-Central Visayas (PRO 7)’s Crisis Response Battalion (CRB) are set to vacate their temporary barracks at the Cebu City Sports Center (CCSC) next month. This as the Cebu City Government decided to reopen the CCSC to joggers beginning Monday, May 3, 2021. Members of the CRB have made the CCSC their temporary home since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic last year as they were tapped to enforce minimum health protocols in the city. With the scheduled reopening of the CCSC to the public next month, CRB members will be relocated to the city’s 11 police stations and will stay in gyms managed by the barangays.

Video / TikTok news.com.au A Woolies bakery worker has issued a public plea for customers to stop buying bread with the furthest away expiry dates, claiming it causes unnecessary food waste. Back in February TikTok user @tony.zakharia2 shared how the clips on loaves of bread will usually correspond to what day it was baked and was a guide to which one was the freshest. His video went viral, with plenty of customers responding that they always went by the bag clip colour or picked the bread at the back so they could get the freshest loaf.
